What can I expect on my first visit?
Your first visit is all about getting to know you and your unique health journey! We'll start with a warm welcome and office tour where you'll learn about our approach to natural wellness. During your consultation, we'll listen carefully to understand your health story and goals. We'll perform a complete neurological assessment using our NASA-published technology to understand exactly how your nervous system is functioning. This thorough initial visit typically takes 60-90 minutes, and we save adjustments for your second visit so we can create the perfect care plan for you.
-
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! We work with most major insurance providers. Our team will verify your benefits before your second visit and clearly explain your coverage options. We offer various options to help you budget and plan for your care investment, whether you have insurance coverage or not.

What makes Thrive different from other chiropractors?
At Thrive, we focus on neurologically-based chiropractic care that honors your body's natural ability to heal. Dr. Stephanee specializes in pediatric and prenatal care, using gentle techniques specifically designed for every stage of life. We use advanced technology to measure your nervous system function, so we're never guessing with your health!
-
Is chiropractic care safe during pregnancy?
Absolutely! Your body was beautifully designed to grow and nurture new life. Our specialized prenatal care helps support your changing body throughout pregnancy, often helping with common discomforts while preparing for a healthy delivery. Dr. Stephanee has advanced training in prenatal care and uses techniques specifically designed for expecting mamas.
-
When should I bring my baby in for their first check?
Just like dental visits or well-baby checks, we recommend having your little one's nervous system checked as early as possible. The birthing process, while natural, can be quite demanding on both mama and baby. Many of our practice members bring their babies in for their first check within the first few weeks of life to ensure their nervous system is functioning optimally from the start.
-
How gentle are the adjustments?
Our adjustments are incredibly gentle – especially for our littlest practice members! For babies, the pressure used is about the same as checking the ripeness of a tomato. For adults, Dr. Stephanee primarily uses two state-of-the-art instruments: the Integrator and Activator. These precision instruments allow her to deliver very specific, gentle adjustments exactly where needed. While Dr. Stephanee is also skilled in manual adjusting techniques, she only uses these methods when practice members are completely comfortable with them and express a preference for manual adjustments.
-
How long does a typical adjustment take?
Your regular visits with us typically take 15-30 minutes. We've designed our practice to provide personalized, heartfelt care that lets you get back to what matters most.
-
Do I need to schedule visits?
Yes! We create your complete visit schedule at the beginning of care. Our convenient SKED app makes it easy to adjust your visits as your schedule changes.
-
What should I wear?
Come as you are! No special clothing is required. Just wear something comfortable that allows easy movement.
-
Do you see families together?
We love seeing families thrive together! We often schedule family appointments so parents and children can receive care during the same visit. Our office is designed to be kid-friendly, making it easy and fun for the whole family.
-
Why do I need to come in when I'm feeling good?
Just like you brush your teeth daily to prevent cavities, regular chiropractic care helps maintain your nervous system's optimal function. Your body is constantly adapting to daily stresses, and proactive care helps support your natural ability to handle these challenges.
-
How long will I need care?
Every person's journey is unique! During your second visit, Dr. Stephanee will review your assessment findings and recommend a personalized care plan. We'll explain everything clearly and answer any questions you have about your specific needs. We recommend making chiropractic care a lifelong part of your wellness lifestyle, just like regular exercise and healthy eating, to help maintain optimal nervous system function.
-
What technology do you use?
We utilize Space Certified, NASA-published technology to assess your nervous system function. This includes thermal scanning, surface EMG, and heart rate variability measurements – allowing us to see exactly how your nervous system is working and celebrate your journey to better health together.
-
Will I get an adjustment on my first visit?
While each person's situation is unique, we typically reserve adjustments for your second visit. Your first visit is dedicated to thoroughly understanding your health story and performing a complete neurological assessment. This allows Dr. Stephanee time to analyze your results and create a customized care plan designed specifically for you. We never want to guess with your health, which is why we take the time to get it right from the start.
